GOA BANDARI SAMAJ LEADERS APPROACHES COURT OVER MANIPULATION OF VOTES AT ITS ELECTIONS

Stating that over, 200 votes at the Goa Bandari Samaj elections were manipulated during vote counting’s, its working president Anil Hoble on Thursday informed media that its panel had approached the civil court, requesting the election committee to conduct re-counting of the votes of the recently held samaj elections.

Addressing media persons in Panjim,  Hoble said that he had not officially handed over his charge as Bandari Samaj President to Ashok Naik as the returning officer of the Samaj elections.   Next hearing into the vote counting petition has been slated for 14th January, he stated.

Hoble also informed media, that he had filed police complaint against samaj leader including Ashok Naik, Mangaldas Naik, Fakru Panjikar, Sunil Naik, Zogusso Naik, Devanand Naik for trespassing and breaking lock of Samaj office in Panjim on 31st December 2018.
