As the state governments line-of-sight for resumption of mining activity in Goa remains bleak, Over 300 mining dependents on Monday, Marched towards the MGP Chief Sudin Dhavlikar’s residence in Ponda.
Former Goa RSS Chief Subhash Velingkar, has backed the mining dependents protest ahead of the fast approaching bye elections. Heavy police force deployed by the state administration to avert mishaps at the ministers residence.
Dhavalikar after meeting protesters, assured the mining dependents that he would seek an appointment with the Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi by 16th January.
Mining dependents across the state have chalked out an program to confront all political parties, ahead of the Lok sabha elections which will be held in 2019.
