Stating that several issues of public importance were pending before the state govt, the congress party in Goa on Friday told The Goajunction that it would demand that Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar attend the Business Advisory Committee meeting of the legislative assembly session.
GPCC president, Giresh Chodankar said that leader of opposition Chandrakant Kavalekar will write to the legislative secretatiate, stating that Parrikar should remain present for the BAC meeting. He also said that, the congress party will chalk out a program to corner NDA MLA’s at the assembly session, if the chief minister does not attend Business Advisory Committee meeting.
The Goa governor on advise of the Chief minister Parrikar has summonsed 3 days assembly session in the last week of January 2019. Since February 2018, Cheif minister remained isolated from mass public engagements, after his brief illness .
