The council for Road safety in Goa, on Tuesday has decided not renew excerise license of liquor vendors across the state, if they do not put “Don’t Drive While Drink” banners in the liquor bars.
Speaking to media persons after the council meeting in Panjim, Dy. Transport Director Nanda Kishore Arolkar said that, the vendors will have to comply with the new norms by 31st March. “Don’t Drive While Drink” boards will be compulsory in all eatanaries and bars serving liquor from 1st April 2019.

The council also contemplating also setting up corpus funds from the fines collected by traffic fines to streamline road safety measures .
