GOA CONGRESS TO INDUCT FORMER INDUSTRIES MINISTER ON 24th FEB

Ahead of the fast approaching L. S. elections, former Shiroda BJP MLA, Mahadev Naik on Friday said that he would be inducted into the congress party on 24th February. Speaking to The Goajunction, Naik said that congress leaders had paid visit to his residence in Shiroda to invite him officially for his induction ceremony.
He said that the reason for switching-over political party was that “the BJP top leaders had not taken him into confidence while inducting Subhash Shirodkar in the party”.
Earlier, in 2018 as a part of cabinet reshuffle, BJP had inducted 2 congress MLA’s Dayanand Sopte from Manderm and Subhash Shirodkar from Shiroda. Senior BJP Laxmikant Parsekar and Subhash Shirodkar had slammed BJP over inducting without party workers consultation.
