Goa government is contemplating to export Goan youth overseas, by enhancing technical skills through Prime Minister’s Skill India Program.
Speaking at the launch of the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana ( PMKVY) in Panjim on Thursday, Skill India minister for Goa Vishwajeet Rane further said that at the upcoming Mopa Airport, only youth with PMKVY certificate should be recruited on priority. He further said that around 2 to 3 lakh jobs opportunity were available in Japan and Goans need to learn that language to get recruited.
The statement from Rane comes, after people across several parts of the Goa have been niggling politicians for government jobs in the state. Rane urged youth across the state to participate in PMKVY to upgrade their skills.
