The NSUI in Goa on Tuesday criticized the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant for not addressing issues pertaining to Higher education properly. Speaking to The Goajunction, NSUI president Ahraz Mulla said that although the Goa CM had assured MBBS admission aspirant students, that it would not seek bonds for admissions, the government has not disclosed when it would dispense loans sought from GEDC for paying college fees. He said that for last 2 years, the government had not released payments against higher education fees & several college managements were putting pressure students.
Earlier, this day CM Pramod Sawant through an video clip message had assured MBBS students in Goa, that the government will not seek bond for seeking admission for MBBS studies. Sawant said that education and health ministry would review bond clause and lay some allied academic regulations so that MBBS students serve that state for 2 years after completing their graduation.
