Dr. SAWANT HEADED GOA GOVERNMENT SOLD RS. 400 CRORE “SECURITES” SINCE ITS INCEPTION, TO COPE WITH CAPITAL EXPANSE FOR DEVELOPMENT

The Goa chief minister and finance minister Dr. Pramod Sawant headed state governmnet aunctioned Rs. 400 crore since its formation on 19th March 2019.

According to Reserve Bank of India, Goa government acutioned Rs. 100 crore securites each on 15th April, 21st May, 11th June and 25th June 2019.

The recent, Goa finance ministry’s notification said that it auctioned Rs. 100 crore “Government Securities” to cope financial capital expanditure for developmental programs.

According to Goa Finance Secratey, W. V. R. Murthy “The Government of Goa, hereby notifies the sale of Government Stock (Securities) of 10-year tenure for an aggregate amount of Rs. 100.00 crore.

The notifications furthur says : The proceds of the loans will be utilized for financing capital expenditure in connection with the development programmes of the Government of Goa.

The auction will be conducted by the Reserve Bank of India, at its Mumbai office on June 25, 2019.

The loan will be repaid at par on June 26, 2029.
