Stating that the state government’s since 2012 had not resolve several issues in public domain, The Goa congress legislative party, on Tuesday said it had taken precautions, so that Pramod Sawant headed NDA Govt does not dodge issues raised by opposition at the forthcoming monsoon session.
Addressing media persons at the secretariat complex in Porvorim, leader of Opposition Chandrakant Kavlekar said that ruling alliance govt should stop the blame games and resolve people’s problems at the forthcoming assembly session.
He also said that state govt had not taken all stake holders into confidence while attempting to resolve Taxi operators issue.
Further speaking, Congress MLA Pratapsingh Rane said that the state should adopt technologies from Hong Kong or Macau for clearing-up garbage mess across the state to face-lift tourism industry in Goa. Rane further said that the state government put proper and effective legislations to curb littering on public places in Goa.
Rane said that former Goa CM Manohar Parrikar, in recent past had dumped plastic waste at Sankhlim in an civil supply department store, subsequently a blaze engulfed the dumps & now its laying abandoned
