Day after brutal sword attack on a teligaon resident at Ribandar, the congress party on Tuesday accused that the law and order situation in Goa was deteriorating.
Addressing media persons in Panjim, Congress spokesperson Urfan Mulla said that as govt was unable to resolve employment woes of people of Goa, youth from the state were heading towards committing crimes including selling of drugs to earn their living.
Further speaking to media, its leader Adv. Varad Mardolkar said that management of S. S. Samati high school in Ponda was attempting to pressurise, police officials for not registering a complaint of minor boy who was brutally assaulted by a Librarian – Amit Sawant in school premises earlier this week.
Mardolkar, said sawant should be suspended or dismissed to brutality in school premises.
Meanwhile, the congress party in Goa filed a police complaint against BJP leader Subramaniam Swamy for remarks on Rahul Gandhi on drug consumption.
