The Goa Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant on Friday said that he would initiate an inquiry against Rohan Khaunte, Vijai Sardesai, Jayesh Salgoankar and Vinod Palenkar for addressing an public Rally at the proposed memorial site of Late Manohar Parrikar in Miramar.
Speaking to media persons after the swearing-in ceremony of new ministers at Rajbhavan CM Sawant said that he had sought a detailed report from the office of collector and police department, if any public meeting was held by politicians at Parrikar’s Samadhi Venue.
Sawant, further said that the Govt will take actions against the MLA’s if violation pertaining to disturbing sanctity at Parrikar’s memorial is proved.
Earlier this afternoon, addressing a rally at the Parrikar’s memorial, Rohan Khaunte accused the state BJP had back stabbed them. He also said that the current BJP dispensation in Goa, did not want Parrikar’s vision to be taken forward.
Further speaking on the occasion Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai slammed CM Sawant & BJP organisation secretary Satish Dhond for impeaching them as cabinet ministers. Addressing on an occasions, Vijai said that they would continue to remain as watch dogs in the govt.
