The Goa Chief minister, Pramod Sawant on Thursday postponed an calling attention to Monday, on flood like situation in low lying area while Indian Satellite images indicated very heavy rain showers during next 150 hours.
Responding to MGP MLA, Sudin Dhavalikar Dr. Sawant told the state assembly that, it had received reply from only one department, while atleast 4 to 5 departments were involved for taking appropriate measures. Sawant said, he would reply to the calling attention on Monday.
Incidentally, Doppler weather radar services at Althino in Panjim has stopped operations and is under maintenance . Dhavalikar, in an calling attention had expressed a fear and anxiety in the minds of people living along coastal Goa.
