GOA TAXI OPERATORS TO GO OFF-ROAD ON FRIDAY, EXPECTED TO STAGE PROTEST IN PANJIM

Private Taxi operators and Rent a Car operators across Goa on thursday announced go off road on Friday after the state govt declined to scrap Goa Miles app.

The state govt earlier this week has invoked ESMA, to avoid untowards incidents. Eariler on wednesday, the state govt had special discussion at the state legislative assembly and decided not to scrap goamiles app.

Taxi operators are expected to stage a protest rally in Panjim tomorrow.

  1. That’s bad and good news. The good news is that these rough and over charged riders can take a break for as long as they wish. Why create law and order problem at the cost of the taxpayers? Their grivieance is with the Government. Don’t allow them to conduct assembly sessions. The bad news is all road…air and rail businesses will be affected.
