The state govt on monday held its road safety council meeting at the secretariat complex in porvorim. Goa Transport minister Mauvin Godhino attended the meet.
Speaking to media persons after the meeting, GOACAN coordinator, Roland Martin’s informed media the state govt has decided to hold road safety week from 16th to 22nd sept in Goa. He further informed media, that by 31st Oct 2019 the council had to submit its report to the center in regards to road safety measures adopted by the state govt on National highways.
Goa Transport Minister, Mauvin informed media that the govt was contemplating to setup artificial intelligence system on Goan roads, to book traffic volitation. He also said that the govt will take various measures to decrease road accidents in coming days.
