Delhi bound Indigo flight made an emergency landing at Goa airport after an engine caught fire 15 minutes after it toke off at 22.50 hrs last night.
According to reports, the flight’s left engine caught fire causing panic aboard the flight.
Around 180 passengers were on board on the filght, during the emergency landing. Among the passengers on board were the state’s Environment Minister Nilesh Cabral, Agriculture Director and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Environment minister.
There have been no reports of injuries so far. The airline is yet to issue a statement.
