The Goa Government earlier this week re-constituted Organizing Committee of the 36th Indian National Games to decide on all the policy matters regarding the Games. According to the state ministry for sports and youth affairs, the 32 members Organizing Committee is chaired by Goa Chief minister Pramod Sawant. The committee would have all the administrative and policy making powers in regards with hosting the Indian national games.
President of Olympic association, Shripad Naik and Goa Sports minister, Manohar Azgaonkar are appointed as vice chairman’s. Around 29 bureaucrats including Goa Chief Secretary, Goa DGP are appointed as members of the committee.
