MAHARASHTRA ELECTION: GOA GOVT BANS SALE OF LIQUOR ALONG PERIPHERY

Ahead of the forthcoming Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections, the Goa government has imposed ban on sale of liquor from 19th to 21st October and 00.00 hrs of October 24, 2019 till midnight.

 

According to the public notice issued by the state government, Commissioner of Excise has informed that in view of General Elections to Maharashtra Legislative Assembly 2019 all licensed premises within the limit of   Village Panchayat Latambarcem-Ward Dodamarg-I, Kharpal-II, V.P Sal – Ward Kholpem-VII, Khorgirem-VI, Pernem taluka – V.P Kerim – ward Tirakol-I, V.P Torsem ward Patradevi-I, V.P Ibrampur-Ward – Hankanem I and II and Hadus-III,  V.P Paliem – Ward Kiranpani-IV, Sattari taluka, V.P Kerim Ward Shirolim-III and Ravan Colony-II, V.P Poriem – Ward Ranewaddo-I and Gurawaddo-I, V.P Maulinguem (North) Ward Maulinguem-III and V.P Curchirem Ward Curchirem-VI  will be closed from 06.00 p.m of October 19, 2019 till Midnight  of October 21, 2019 and 00.00 hrs of October 24,2019 till midnight.
