PARRIKAR SAMADHI ROW: GOA GOVT OBTAINS PERMISSION FOR MIRAMAR MEMORIAL CONSTRUCTION,WHILE HC STAYS BLUE FLAG CERTIFICATION

The Goa chief minister, Dr.Pramod Sawant on Tuesday informed media persons that the state government had obtained all permissions for construction of late Chief minister Manohar Parrikar’s memorial in Miramar. Sawant said that the foundation stone for the same, would be laid on Parrikar’s birth anniversary on 13th December.

 

Earlier, in October 2019 – The High court at Goa in a public interest litigation has stayed the blue flag certification at the Miramar beach. The court has issued notice to MOEF and the state govt procedures .

 

The ports minister, Michael Lobo informed media that the state government did not require to seek any Environment clearance to build the memorial at Miramar beach.

  1. BJP should stop this samadhi crap and concentrate on good and lasting roads, ministers must stop taking commission from contractors, do governance of Goa, migrants every nook and corner of Goa.
