The Right wing organisation, Hindu Janjagrati Samiti on Monday accused that electronic dance music parities in Goa were influencing drug peddling amongst christian girls in coastal belt of the state. Addressing media persons in Panjim, for shiv sena leader Ramesh Naik said that EDM’s including Sunburn was promoting drugs and prostitution in Goa.
Its president, Manoj Solanki said that Sunburn organisers in recent past had not paid all the fees and taxes to the state government. He said that the event like sun burn was destroying cultural heritage of the state and youth were getting addicted to narcotics.
We have urged the Goa CM to decline permission for sunburn festival. We will also petition the tourism minister in this regards, Solanki said.
