The National working president of Bharatiya Janata Party J. P. Nadda on Friday jibe congress leader Rahul Gandhi for creating fear and apprehension amongst minority communities on implementation of CAA in the country. Addressing a public rally at Azad Maidan in Panjim, Nadda said that “I challenge Rahul Gandhi to talk 10 lines about CAA and show what has to be opposed in the act in 2 lines”.
Nadda further maintained that degrees procured by professional including doctors in Pakistan would be recognised by India after the implementation of CAA.
Addressing on the occasion, Goa Chief minister Dr. Pramod Sawant asserted that Goan who have procured portuguese passport will not be affected from implementation of CAA. He said that Goan diaspora especially Christians need not worry about holding dual citizenship in the state.
Around 6,000 people across Goa were participated at the Pro CAA rally in Panjim. All cabinet ministers and MLA attended the meeting at Azad Maidan.
