GOA POLICE ARRESTS NORTH-EAST INDIAN FOR STABBING AFGHANI STUDENT AT GOA UNIVERSITY

The Goa police department on Monday arrested a north-east Indian national resideing in Teligaon for stabbing a Afghani student at Goa University complex. 4 accuses had gone to booze at night in Goa university complex.

According to Panjim police inspector Sudesh Naik, 4 North east Indians residing in Teligaon, who went to booze in open air at University complex, had verbal arbitration and misunderstanding due to ego problem.

Naik said that “One of the accuse stabbed the student with knife on the back side after an verbal spart”.

He said “We have arrested one accuse and produced him before the court had sought 4 days police custody”.

An FIR has been registered under section 326/34 of IPC. 3 accuses are absconding.
