GOA 15TH FINANCE COMMISSION: GCCI, BJP, CONGRESS, GOA FORWARD DEMANDS MULTI CRORE GRANTS FROM CENTRE

The 15th Finance commission of India on Thursday meet several Goan industrial, state bureaucrats and members of the political parties in Panjim. Manoj Caculo headed GCCI has demanded Rs. 2500 crore for developing industrial facilities in the state. Goa BJP President, Sadanand Tanavde has demanded Rs. 1300 crore for comprehensive development of the state. The BJP has also sought funds Zilla Panchayat members in Goa. Goa Forward Party headed by Vijai Sardesai has demanded Rs. 6000 crore as one time mining relief package from the commission. While congress leader of opposition, Digambar Kamat has demanded 50% repayment of taxes.
