42 COMPANIES WILL BE SERVED NOTICES WITHIN 1 MONTH TO RECOVER MINING LOSSES INDICATED BY CA’S : GOA CM TELLS ASSEMBLY

The state government will commence procedures to recover mining losses  from 42 mining companies indicated by 16 member Chartered Accounts committee, Goa Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant on Tuesday informed the state legislative assembly.

Sawant further said that the government will serve notices to CA indicated mining companies within next one month.  He further said that Special investigation team is also probing the mining cases.

Responding to question tabled opposition,  further told house that 9 mining cases were under investigation.

Responding to a separate question, CM Sawant said that until supreme court’s, 3 judge bench pronounces its verdict on mining concession abolition act, the state government was unable auction the mining leases.

  1. This mining investigation is a total farce since the time of Parrikar. He fooled Goans nd still BJP is fooling us.
