FIRST BAN MINISTERS, MLA’S, PANCH’S AND ZP’S ENTERING CASINO’S BEFORE DISCUSSING RESTRICTION OF GOANS GAMBLING IN CASINOS

The state government should ban entry of elected representatives in casinos, before discussing restriction of Goans from gambling in casinos, said MGP Chief Sudin Dhavalikar, on Tuesday in Panjim.

Speaking at the sidelines of the budget session at the state legislative assembly, Dhavalikar said that  “If there are ministers, MLAs, panch’s, sarpanchas, zilla panchayat members playing in casinos, they should be banned first and then the issue should be discussed”.

Ports Minister Michael Lobo, said that identity cards for citizens entering casino vessels will be made mandatory by the gaming commission.

From 1st February,  BJP-led state government enforced gaming commission, to restrict Goans from gambling at casinos.
