GOA GOVT WITHDRAWS TERROR THREAT ORDERS AFTER PUBLIC OUTCRY

The state government on Monday has withdrawn orders pertaining to Goa Terror threat intelligence input.  North Goa District Magistrate, Gopal Parsekar in his revised orders said that “Orders issued under sections 144 of CRPC stands withdrawn with immediate effect. Parsekar has also directed the printing press department to issue an extra ordinary gazette notification.

Earlier this day, Goa Congress President slammed the state government for imposing section 144 using pretext of Terror threat intelligence input.

  1. Order issued with non application of mind. The magistrate concerned should be penalised for issuing the order on unverified facts.
