The state government has decided to extend the Indian prime ministers Janta Curfew for next 3 days. Goa Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant speaking to media persons on Sunday said that the curfew had been extended till 25th March. All inter-state boarders are sealed for tourist.
The General Administration department in a notification has declared paid holidays government employees. North Goa Collector in a notification has declared holiday to industrial and private establishments. All Private and Kadamba Buses plying in the state are suspended for 3 days.
All Municipal Markets, super markets, Bagayadar and PDS outlets will be closed for 3 days as a preventive measure to curb COVID-19 outbreak in the state.
The state government has also banned import of birds (Chicken) from Karnataka.
Pharmacy’s, Hospitals and allied medical emergency services will remain open.
