The state will have to forcefully deploy force on Goan roads, if people are found roaming unnecessarily during the lockdown period and do not obey COVID19 social distancing norms, said Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Wednesday.
Addressing media persons in Panijm, Sawant said that district collector will provide travel permits on hourly basics to citizens, to avoid crowding of people in public places. He said that the travel permits would be provided from 2nd April through state government’s portal “www.goaonline.gov.in”.
Sawant, further said that the Government was monitoring all COVID19 safety standards at the Pharma companies in Goa. He said that fair price shops across the state, would be opened by the civil supply department from 2nd April.
He maintained that Govt run Kadamada buses would provide groceries in South Goa, Sangume Taluka and industrial areas where shops remain closed.
By 3rd April all Bagayatdar will be opened. Banks, credit societies will open from tomorrow with minimum staff, said Sawant.
