GOA GOVT RECOMMENDS EXTENSION OF LOCKDOWN AFTER 3RD MAY: GOA CM

It is not appropriate to lift the COVID19, lockdown when cases in neighboring states which include Karnataka and Maharashtra are increasing. The state government has recommended to the center that lockdown should continue after 3rd May, Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant told reporters via web conferencing.

Dr. Sawant, also said that people of Goa might need to practice social distancing norms, Mask wearing norms for next 1 or 2 years.

Earlier, this day Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant along with IAS and IPS Officials attended a meeting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conferencing from Goa secretariat complex in Porvorim.

  1. What about the trucks coming from Karnataka with manganese with Essential commodities “sugar” labels ? Those drivers r not checked at the borders.
