The leader of opposition Digambar Kamat on Monday said that the state government should advice Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education to take expert opinion from experts from the field of education and health and find alternative for SSC and HSSC examination in the current scenario of Corona Pandemic.
Meanwhile, Congress spokesperson Trajano Dmello in his letter to Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has stated that the government has no infrastructure in place to conduct exams maintaining social distancing norms. He also claims that the state government is not having sufficient Medical officer, which could be deputed at the exam centers.
Exams should be postponed till we see a flattening of the curve in the whole country. In case of any eventuality I would not hesitate to take legal action to pin point that responsibility and accountability, Dmello said
Last week, Goa Headmasters Association, NGO’s, Social Organisations, Teachers and Students have requested the state government to find alternative for examination by taking advice from experts.
