Goa chief minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant will chair series of meetings with ruling MLA’s & leaders of opposition political parties later this day. Dr. Sawant has also invited public suggestions through social media for unlocking the state’s economy.
The sensitive Chief ministers’ meeting’s comes at the backdrop of acute spike in COVID-19 cases in the state after resumption of economic activities post lockdown phase.
Chief Minister is expected to meet ruling MLA’s at around 12:00 noon, while Dr. Sawant will chair an all party meeting at around 4:00 pm in Panjim.
Last week, the state government has relaxed section 144. The state government has permitted opening up of restaurants and religious institutions from today.
Meanwhile, delegation of congress workers will meet Goa chief secretary in regards with COVID-19 cases detection in Calangute village.
