Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Monday said that the state government will enforce new SOP for Goa from 10th June. He said that People coming from Trains, Flights, Road will have to go for compulsory home quarantine for 14 days with ink stamp on hand, else they will have to go for paid testing & 2 days institutional paid quarantine until COVID-19 test result comes. Village Panch, Sarpanch, Panchayat Secretary, councilors, Chief officers and municipal commissioners will have monitor home quarantine status of interstate commuters in their respective jurisdictions. Rs. 2,000 will be charged as swab testing fees from interstate commuters entering Goa.

Dr. Sawant, said that Ruling MLAs, only 19 patients from Mangoor hill require hospitalized treatment; while 6 to 7 heath workers who are tested positive are admitted in COVID hospital. CM asserted that the state had reported no death due to COVID – 19 Pandemic.
