The following data of Goa government’s financial provisions for the year 2020 – 21, was placed by various departments at the one day legislative assembly session on 27th July 2020.
The state government has made a provision of Rs. 26.62 crore to setup new high court building at Porvorim. Rs. 4 Crore has been allotted for digitalization of court records. Annual expense on administration of Justice is Rs. 39.91 crore.
Expenses of advocate general and allied council 5.99 crore. Setting of fast track special court under POCSO Rs. 70 Lakh. Social security and welfare 4.03 crore. Construction of district and sub ordinate courts at Merces 30 crore. Construction of civil Courts at Margao 12 crore. Construction of Court building at Mapusa 1.5 crore.
The state govt has made a provision of Rs. 1.25 crores for digitalization of micro film images under state register. Rs. 8 crore for Permanent secretariat for IFFI. Rs. 16 crore grants for ESG. Rs. 80 lakhs for Konkani/ Marathi film festival. I-pad and re-imbursement of mobile charges for field officials of information and publicity.
Rs. 100 crore for Replacement of ACSR conductors to HTLS conductors. Rs. 125 crore for underground cabling in Marmugoa constituency, Mapusa, Tuem, Sancoale, Rivona. Rs. 20 crore for Electricity substation at Mopa. Rs. 5 crore for installation of Smart meters. Rs. 10 crore for Public Street Lighting Network.
State election commission incurred an expenditure of Rs. 6.29 crores, for conducting village panchayat bye-elections in Tiswadi, Bicholim, Quepem, Bardez, Salcete, Sattari in 2019-20. Estimated budget for panchayat-raj is 7.29 crores, for financial year 2020-21.
Government intends to invest Rs. 12 crores in Konkan Railway corporation limited for FY 2020-21.
