Addressing students through video conferencing on Friday, Goa Chief minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, said that the state government might commence schools & colleges in Goa from next month by maintaining social distancing. He said that the reopening of schools will depend upon guidelines issued by Ministry of Union Home Affairs.
Sawant said that “the state government is not certain about reopening of schools and colleges in Goa. It will depend upon MHA guidelines”. He further said that “The Government might open schools in a staggered manner, from next month. Initially, we might commence standard 10 & 12 classes”.
Dr. Sawant also maintained that new education policy in Goa will be implemented from next academic year. He said that the state government had constituted a task force committee for implementations of new education policy in Goa.
