A team of expert doctors from AIIMS, on Monday evening examined Indian Minister for state Defence Shripad Naik at Manipal Hospital in Donapula. Goa Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant after meeting various doctors at the Manipal Hospital on Monday late night said that there was no necessity to airlift Shripad Naik to AIIMS as of now.
Dr. Sawant told reporters that Shripad’s condition was stable & all further medication for Naik would be given in Goa itself. He said that AIIMS team would reexamine Naik on Tuesday morning before leaving to Delhi.
Sawant, maintained that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian BJP Chief J. P. Nadda were closely monitoring Shripad’s Health Status.
Shripad, is the 1st Union cabinet minister in Modi Govt, to be administered plasma therapy in the county. Earlier, on August 12, Shripad Naik was shifted to Manipal Hospital after he was tested COVID -19 Positive.
