GOAN MINERS MOVES TO SUPREME COURT, PLEADING 6 MONTHS EXTENSION FOR TRANSPORTING ORE

Ahead of fast approaching, mining export season Goan lease holders have moved to supreme court for allowing them another 6 more months to transport ore from their leases. According to Goa Foundation, “Both Chougules and Salgaoncars have filed applications in the Apex Court for allowing them another 6 more months to transport ore from their leases”.

Meanwhile, Mining companies in Goa have decided file four new Review Petitions at the supreme court to challenge the judgment of Justices Madan Lokur and Deepak Gupta in regards with quashing of 2nd renewal of 88 mining leases.
