The Goa Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant on Tuesday said that the state government was firm to setup the permanent infrastructure for “Indian Institute of Technology – Goa” at Melauli – Valpoi site.
Speaking to reporters, Dr. Sawant said that “the government is firm not to shift IIT from Guleli. He said that “We will connivance people from villages ….. 75% land out of total 10 Lakh square meters is barren.
Dr. Sawant, further said that “I have personally inspected the site. Quite a small quantity of land is under the vegetation and economic activity.
