The public works department, earlier this month has revised its tender document procurement fees. According to notification issued by principal chief engineer, U. P. Parsekar, for value of works costing upto Rs. 1 Lakh the tender document has been priced at Rs. 1,000.
For work orders above Rs. 1 Lakh and up to Rs. 5 Lakh, the contractors will have to pay Rs. 2,000 for the tender document. Entrepreneurs would be charged Rs. 3,000 for tender documents Above Rs. 5 Lakhs and up to Rs. 25 Lakh.
Parsekar, further maintained that for PWD’s tenders above Rs. 25 Lakhs and up to Rs. 50 Lakh it would charge Rs. 4,000 for the documents. He said that tenders above Rs. 50 Lakhs and up to Rs. 2 crore contractors will have to pay Rs . 8,000 for the papers.
For work orders, Above Rs. 2 Crores and up to Rs. 5 crore service providers will have to pay Rs . 15,000 for the tenders. While, tenders costing above Rs. 5 Crores and up to Rs. 10 crore would be charged Rs. 20,000 for the document.
For contracts above Rs. 10 Crores, tender document would cost Rs. 30,000
