AFTERMATH COVID 19 OUTCRY GOA IS “NEARING COMPLETE NORMALCY” : GOA GOVERNOR TELLS STATE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY

The governor of Goa, Bhagat Singh Koshyari addressing the Goa legislative assembly on Monday said that “Though the State has suffered a lot in terms of Socio-Economic & Infrastructure development taking a backseat in the Covid times, but due to systematic planning, regular monitoring and instantaneous corrective measures by the State administration, the State is now gaining momentum in its activities from micro to macro level and is nearing complete normalcy”.

He further congratulated the Goa Chief Minister and his Cabinet Collegues, State Executive Committee headed by the Chief Secretary, all front line Covid warriors, Officers and officials who successfully controlled the spread of COVID-19 (pandemic) in the State.

Koshyari  also congratulated the State administration for ensuring smooth supply of essential food grains to the citizens without any shortage during outbreak of COVID-19 ( pandemic).

“A novel initiative “Grocery on wheels” was successfully implemented wherein essential commodities were provided at the doorstep of the common man. The State administration coordinated with other States to smoothen the movement of vehicles carrying essential commodities”, Koshyari   told assembly.
