GOA COVID 2ND WAVE : 80% TOURIST FLOUT COVID NORMS ON GOAN BEACHES || GOA CM DEFIES IMPOSING RESTRICTION

Although, various state governments across India have started imposing social restrictions to curb outbreak of COVID 19, the Goa government however is in no mood to implements any regulations.

While, conducting a Ground zero assessment, The Goajunction – indicates that more than 80% tourists sightseeing beaches were not wearing proper face mask nor following proper C19 norms.  Several stake holders including club operators, eateries and allied ventures are also not following the norms up to the mark.

According to police officials, “It is practically, imposable to monitor covid violations on such large starch of beaches, which have maximum footfalls.  Police officials, have to monitor various aspects at beaches, right from pick pocketing activates to allied law & order measures. The drive against COVID 19 precautions are carried by senior police officials”.
