The state government on Wednesday imposed Night Curfew between 10.00pm to 6.00 am until 30th April. Addressing media persons in Panjim, Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant however maintained that the government will not impose any restriction for logistic, medical or allied transportations in the night.
Dr. Sawant, further maintained that Swimming pools, Schools, Colleges, Educational and Coaching institutions except for offline examinations of college students, Social/ political/ Sports/ Entertainment/ Academic/ Cultural/ congregations would remain closed till 30th April.
He said that Casinos, Bars/ restaurants, River cruises/ waterparks/ entertainment parks, Gymnasiums/ Spa/ Massage Parlours, Cinema Halls/ Theatres/ Multiplexes would be allowed to run with not more than 50% capacity.
All religious places of worship like temples/mosques/churches/mutts shall ensure that no mass-gatherings are allowed, and only essential rituals to be performed by the priest and/or custodian of such establishment. Weddings with a maximum limit of 50 persons’ attendance with prior permission from the concerned District Collector and for funeral/cremation not more than 20 persons allowed.
