GOA TO IMPOSE 15 DAY TOTAL CURFEW FROM 9TH MAY || COVID 19 NEGATIVE OR VACCINATION CERTIFICATE COMPULSORY FOR INTER-STATE TRAVEL

The state government will impose, 15 days total Curfew across Goa starting from 9th May, chief minister Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant announced on Friday.  He said that shops of essential commodities and allied services would be permitted to remain open between 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM during the curfew phase.

The government will permit cooked food home delivery between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, while pharmacies in Goa would not have any restriction on their operations, said Dr. Sawant.

CM further maintained that tourist entering the state will have to provide RT-PCR negative certificate or proof of vaccination while entering Goa during the restriction phase.

In last 24 hours Goa reported 56 deaths, while recovery rate falls to 71%. The decision from the state government comes, days after High court in Goa showcaused the state administration over increasing COVID 19 case.  The state government is expected to respond to the PIL filed the citizens on 11th May.
